<p>Based in Los Angeles since 2018, <strong>Jess Cornelius</strong> was born and raised in New Zealand before moving to Melbourne, Australia, where she released three critically acclaimed albums as Teeth &amp; Tongue. After relocating to the US, she started releasing albums under her own name. 2020&rsquo;s <em>Distance</em> gained attention across the US, Australia, and the UK, with <em>Pitchfork</em> calling her &lsquo;funny, self-effacing, and honest&rsquo; and <em>The Guardian&nbsp;</em>praising the album&rsquo;s combination of &lsquo;delicate folk and 70s jam band Americana with flashes of 80s pop-blues and Californian grunge.&rsquo; Her 2024 follow-up, CARE/TAKING, saw her record live sets for KEXP Seattle (who called it &lsquo;a stunning display of expressive indie rock&rsquo;) and NPR&rsquo;s World Caf&eacute;, and was named Feature Album on Double J Australia and Album of the Week on Melbourne&rsquo;s 3RRR FM.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Guided by the dramatic leaps of her dusky voice, Cornelius&nbsp;sings of personal upheaval with striking lucidity and emotional nimbleness, trying to square global crises and insecurities with the transformations and responsibilities in her own life.&nbsp;It&rsquo;s&nbsp;searching music that&rsquo;s as biting as it is comforting, and while her melodies careen into unexpected places, they&rsquo;re all anchored with a keen sense of timelessness. &nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Jess Cornelius is returning to Australia for one show only, and is performing solo&mdash;very special! &nbsp;The last one sold out fast so get in there.</p><p style="text-align: center;"><br></p><p style="text-align: center;"><br></p><hr><p style="text-align: center;"><br></p><p style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><strong><span style="font-size: 18px;">TICKETING INFO</span></strong>&nbsp;</span></p><p style="text-align: center;">Please have a digital or printed copy of your ticket ready on arrival along with a valid photo ID.
